Gromitdog1 / VW has made a serious miatkse with their thinking on the new Jetta, its cheap, and cheap where traditional VW owners will expect quality. The cheap interior with hard plastic finish, the ghetto armrest, the solid beam rear axel, the return to cable actuated climate control, drum brakes on the base model, hydraulic power steering, ghetto trunk hinge vs multilink etc. The new jetta screams cheap and its a shame for what was essentially an affordable german car.
